Caol Ila 12 Y.O

Caol Ila 12 Year Old is a typical representative of the whiskies from the island of Ila, not as heavy smoky malt as others, but still sharp. It was released in 2002 and has a fresh and light taste with the typical smokiness of the distillery.
 
 
Colour: Pale Hay
Nose: Fresh, of herbs, crushed mint, damp grass, tobacco leaves. Oily
Taste: Good body, oily, tarry and elegant smoke, malty sweetness.
Finish: The sweetness from the body disappears quickly leaving a light pleasant finish of tar, ash and peat. Alcoholic strength 40%.
